Northumberlandia - Earth Sculpture

A giant earth sculpture created by the Artist Charles Jenks is being built near Blagdon north of Newcastle upon Tyne using soil and spoil from the Shotton open cast mine. It is considered that it will be the world's largest human form sculpture. Blagdon, Nothumberland Picture (Mail on line)
