The river is very still today, only a year ago it flooded the Village, Rothbury, Northumberland.

Work is on-going to create an easy access pathway along the north bank of the river Coquet west of Rothbury, Northumberland.

There were at least a dozen fishermen along the length of this pier. It was very windy only a couple of hundred yards out into the North Sea. We had not noticed the wind on the beach. South Beach, Blyth, Northumberland.

The very long north pier is closed as it is in need of repair. The size of the light is in marked contrast to the small lights on the pole in the picture above! Blyth, Northumberland.
