The North East has lost one of its favourite sons. Sir Bobby Robson was a Football (Soccer) Knight but he was more than that, he was a gentleman loved and respected by all who knew him and those who knew of him. These tributes have been left at the Leazes end of St James' Park by fans from all over this country and also from Holland and Spain where he was equally held in great affection.
These Newcastle and Sunderland scarves unlikely to be found together at any other time.
Thousands of signatures on the big shirt including those of me and mine.
Scarves from all over, left to show respect to this superb man.
Awesome! Sir Bobby was a great ambassador for the North East of England he will be sorely missed. He has left other local Heroes with a lot to live up to.
